Example: Creation and implementation of redevelopment concepts

In the event of a company’s performance or financial difficulties, the rapid and consistent preparation of a viable restructuring concept determines the willingness of shareholders, banks and other financing partners to continue to support the company in need of restructuring.

Core components of a remediation concept are:

  • the presentation of the initial economic situation
  • the detailed analysis of crisis stage and causes
  • the presentation of the mission statement of the reorganized company
  • the measures taken to overcome the corporate crisis
  • an integrated business plan

Only on the basis of these core components can a statement on the ability to restructure be derived in a well-founded manner; the assessment of only individual problem areas and measures is not sufficient for this purpose.

In the event of a pending refurbishment, ifas provides support in the preparation and implementation of refurbishment concepts. In special cases, Dr. Olaf Sieker also assumes the function of an interim manager.
