The company was founded in 2009 by Dr. Olaf Sieker and Prof. Dr. Annett Cascorbi in Hamburg. ifas operates nationwide.

Dr. Olaf Sieker has 15 years of experience in corporate finance and has personally advised on more than 50 transactions. From 2000 to 2007, Dr. Sieker was managing director of a corporate consulting firm he founded. In 2007 and 2008, Dr. Sieker initiated and successfully accompanied an IPO as Chief Financial Officer.

Prof. Dr. Annett Cascorbi is Professor for Strategic Corporate Management and Human Resource Management at the private NORDAKADEMIE University of Applied Sciences. NORDAKADEMIE is the first private university founded directly by the business community. The sponsorship of the university is also unique – a non-profit public limited company with 43 well-known companies and the employers’ association NORDMETALL, which operates exclusively in the interests of the students and cooperating companies.
